If you’re a bubbly lover like we are, Corridor 44 {1433 Larimer Street, Denver; 303.893.0044} is the happiest of places. Grab a seat with your beau at one of the cozy booths speckling the 44-foot corridor and prepare to be delighted. The Champagne selection and clever list of cocktails is impressive, as are the Champagne-inspired plates. Here’s the scoop on our latest trip to this LoDo gem.

Corridor 44 Cocktails

Bubbly cocktails are their specialty, so who would we be to decline? Try the Napoleon with Grand Marnier as you nibble on an appetizer, or the Chocolate Cake for a sweet, nutty treat to complement dessert. And a little tip we learned during our visit: Don’t miss ladies’ night on Wednesdays (from 4pm to close) with $4 Champagne cocktails!

Colorado Lamb Lollipops

Succulent Lamb Lollipops served with a cherry balsamic that brings sweet, bright flavor and a bit of acidity to the plate. It’s served with mashed Yukon potatoes and mixed veggies for a well-rounded dish we’ll be back for again.

Scallops

Seared Scallops

Scallops seared to perfection, drizzled with saffron butter and bacon, sitting atop a rich Parmesan risotto. Each bite is velvety smooth with a salty crunch at the end for added texture and flavor. These are the things dreams are made of.
