Last Sunday, the FOODIES Festival drew local artisan food producers, street fare chefs, artists, and hungry food-lovers to a patch of land behind the Belleview Station in south Denver.
So what is it? A farmers’ market? A street food fest? A local crafts fair? Really, it’s all of those things. Tents filled with paintings intermingle with tables of locally made hot sauce for sale that stand beside rows of dumplings seared on grills.
This outdoor love letter to Colorado art—culinary and visual—takes place every Sunday from 9am-3pm and every Thursday (starting June 23) from 11:30am-5:30pm through October.
Check out some of the photos of vendors from the first FOODIES Festival above and plan your trip to this lovely biweekly festival soon.
